Consent & Disclosures

1. Who is asking for consent

The DEF Rx platform is operated by Hook & Haul LLC d/b/a DEF Rx, in partnership with Carbon B Gone. Consent you give on this platform applies to messages, notifications, and service coordination sent by DEF Rx and the mobile technicians dispatched to your job.

2. SMS & MMS messaging

Messages are sent from (888) 603-3379. Consent is optional and is never a condition of purchase. Ticking the messaging box on a service request records the following agreement (version 2026-08-08.v2):

By checking this box, I agree to receive SMS text messages from DEF Rx (Hook & Haul LLC d/b/a DEF Rx, in partnership with Carbon B Gone) at (888) 603-3379 about my service request, including dispatch updates, technician arrival times, and job completion notices, at the mobile number I provided. Signed-in users can review their current status on the SMS Preferences page. Every consent event and every outbound message is logged for compliance review.

3. Location sharing

When you submit a roadside or on-site request, we ask for your GPS coordinates so the closest technician can be dispatched and routed to you. Technician location is shared with you while a job is active so you can track arrival. Location is used for dispatch, routing, ETA, and arrival verification only, and is not used for advertising.

4. Photos, notes, and signatures

Technicians capture job photos, service notes, mileage, and a signature at close-out. These records become part of the permanent job recap archive and are used for service history, warranty support, dispute resolution, and billing.

5. Email notifications

We send transactional email tied to your activity — service confirmations, job recaps, invoices, invitations, and account notices. These are not marketing emails. Unsubscribe handling is provided in every applicable message.

6. Withdrawing consent

Reply STOP to stop text messages, turn off notifications in your account settings, or email support@defrx.com. Withdrawing messaging consent does not cancel scheduled service; we will contact you by phone or email instead.

Every published revision of this document is listed below with its effective date. Older versions remain on record so you can see exactly what wording was in force when you agreed.
